Chile's postal code system, run by Correos de Chile, identifies a comuna and a block face, usually grouping more than one address under a single postal code. Each postal code has seven digits: the first three identify the comuna and the last four the block face. Some comunas use a postal code per block face, covering most urban addresses; the rest have a single comuna-wide postal code.
